Context Map upload errors

If you encounter errors when you try to upload your edited Context Map one of the following could be the reason:

  • If you get no error message and the upload just appears to go on forever
This is usually because you have uploaded a file saved in Microsoft Excel Workbook format and not in XML Spreadsheet format. See here for more.
  • If you get:
There was a problem with this upload: Uploaded Context Map name of 'xxxx' does not match this Context Map name of 'yyyy'.
This is because the Context Map name in your upload file is different from the name of the Context Map into which you are trying to upload. The name in your Context Map upload file must be the same as the one into which you are trying to load.
  • If you get:
There was a problem with this upload: This file contains an inaccessible source context.
This is because the Context that you specified as the Source Context either doesn't exist on the server or it exists but your login does not have access to it.
  • If you get:
There was a problem with this upload: This file contains an inaccessible target context.
This is because the Context that you specified as the Target Context either doesn't exist on the server or it exists but your login does not have access to it.
  • If you get:
There was a problem with this upload: Uploaded Environment name of 'xxxx' does not match the server Environment name of 'yyyy'.
This is because you have downloaded a Context Map from a Listpoint Server (e.g. 'Training') that is different from the server to which you are trying to upload (e.g. 'Live'). You can edit your upload file to correct this if you are sure you want to move content from one environment to another.
