An Organization in Listpoint is broadly equivalent to a Government Department (or part thereof), a Police Force, a quango, a company or a joint venture of some sort between any of these.
An Organization contains a list of Teams to which users may belong.
Each Organization has an associated Administration Team (which may belong to a different Organization) which is responsible for managing the roles granted to members of its Teams and creating new Teams.
New Organizations can be added by asking a user with the Registrar role.
NB The listing of an Organization on the Listpoint website does not imply that the Organization yet uses Listpoint.co.uk nor that it endorses any of the published content associated with any of its Teams.
